The Night of Ideas: ’Utopias’ [fr]
The Night of Ideas (Nuit des Idées) aims to create a thought-provoking platform in an intimate and convivial setting, around a theme particularly relevant for the city of Los Angeles : ’Utopias’. It will unfold from 7 PM to 2 AM at Bergamot Station, a former mythical train station turned into an artistic complex of 32 art galleries.
All through the night, indoor and outdoor spaces will host debates and roundtables featuring leading thinkers from various disciplines (philosophy, history, literature, architecture, the visual arts, music, the sciences…) as well as artistic performances (dance, music, film screenings…) and readings. The audience will be able to freely move between all those events and spaces, therefore experiencing a refreshing flow of ideas and creativity.
